Seventy-eight Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the 2005-06 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll.
Four Olivet College teams have received the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Team GPA Award. This award is presented to conference teams that achieved a 3.30 or better grade point average for the entire 2005-06 academic year.

The men's team fell to Albion College, 149-37, and Calvin College, 148-39. The women's team dropped a 147-32 to Albion and a 142-32 decision to Calvin.
The Olivet College men’s and women’s track and field teams each split a pair of Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association dual meets today in Adrian. The men’s team beat the host Bulldogs, 123-50, and lost to Hope College, 114.5-77.5. The women’s team also defeated Adrian, 102-23, and fell to Hope, 124-57.
The Olivet College men’s and women’s track and field teams competed today at the Defiance (Ohio) College Yellow Jacket Open Meet. The women placed third with 60 points, while the men were fourth with 48.5 points.
Bolstered by wins in nine events, the Olivet College men’s track and field team swept its season-opening Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association double dual meet today at Alma College. The Comets beat the host Scots, 98-89, and Tri-State (Ind.) University, 111-79.
Both the Olivet College men’s and women’s outdoor track and field teams finished in third-place (out of five schools) today at the Goshen (Ind.) College Invitational. Bethel (Ind.) College was the team champion for the men and women.
The Olivet College men’s and women’s outdoor track and field teams participated this afternoon in the Dick Small Invitational, which was hosted by Defiance (Ohio) College. Competing against NCAA Division I, II and III and NAIA schools, the men placed fifth of 14 teams, while the women were 11th of 12 teams.
The Olivet College men’s and women’s track and field teams opened their 2006 season tonight by participating in the Mints Link Laker Challenge. The unscored meet was hosted by Grand Valley State University (GVSU).
