Five Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the 2007 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) basketball teams. On the women’s team, senior Audrey Graham (Battle Creek/Lakeview) is a first-team selection, while junior Amy Brackenwagen (Grand Ledge) and senior Stephanie Smith (Waldron/Camden Frontier) are second-team choices. On the men’s team, juniors Jeff Cooper (Dowagiac) and Brandon Way (Detroit/Southwestern) earned second-team honors.

The Olivet College women’s basketball team suffered a heartbreaking 80-74 overtime loss to Albion College tonight in the quarterfinals of the 2007 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament at Kresge Gymnasium in Albion. The Comets end their season with a 12-12 overall record.

The Olivet College women’s basketball team celebrated Senior Day with an 81-54 victory against Kalamazoo College this afternoon at the Upton Center in Olivet. The seven seniors combined to score 77 points as Audrey Graham (Battle Creek/Lakeview) led the way with a career-high 35 points.

Senior Audrey Graham (Battle Creek/Lakeview) posted a double-double, 23 points and 10 rebounds, as the Olivet College women’s basketball team defeated Adrian College, 69-62, this afternoon at the Upton Center in Olivet. In addition, senior Stephanie Smith (Waldron/Camden Frontier) became Olivet’s all-time leader in three-pointers attempted with 561.
