Graham named MIAA Player of the Week

Olivet College senior guard Audrey Graham (Battle Creek/Lakeview) has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Player of the Week for women's basketball

Graham led the Comets with a pair of double figure scoring performances last week. In a 66-62 loss Feb. 14 at Calvin College, she had 27 points on 11-of-15 shooting. In an 84-51 win Feb. 17 against Kalamazoo College, Graham scored a career-high 35 points to go along with seven rebounds. For the week, she shot 65.8 percent (25-of-38) from the floor.

For the season, Graham leads Olivet in scoring (19.3 ppg) and is third in rebounding (4.8 rpg). Her scoring average ranks second in the MIAA.

Graham and the Comets (12-11, 9-7 MIAA) are back in action tonight when they travel to play Albion College in a quarterfinal game of the 2007 MIAA Tournament. Tip-off from Kresge Gym is 7:30 p.m.
