The Olivet College baseball team split a doubleheader with Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College this afternoon on a sun-drenched day at Frank Joranko Field in Albion. After Albion won the opener, 9-5, the Comets bounced back to win the nightcap, 8-1.

The Olivet College baseball team fell to Kalamazoo College, 7-6, today in the first game of a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) doubleheader at Woodworth Field in Kalamazoo. With the score tied at 4-4 in the second inning, the second game was suspended because of rain.

Behind a complete game pitching performance by junior Brad Beisiegel (Royal Oak), the Comets won the opener, 5-3. The Hornets had 21 hits en route to a 16-6 win in the nightcap.
