Ten Olivet College athletic teams have received the 2017-18 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Team GPA award. The award is presented annually to the conference teams who have a 3.30 or higher cumulative grade point average for the entire academic year.
The Olivet College women’s track & field team along with rising junior Noah Bailey have received academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in 2017-18.

Olivet College freshman Ariel Floyd has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. She is earning the honor for the second time this season.

The Olivet College men’s and women’s track & field teams finished sixth-place at the 2018 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships, held at the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic & Recreation Center in Angola, Indiana. The lone event champion for the Comets was Michaela Kaliniak who won the pole vault in a MIAA and school-record clearance of 10 feet and 10 inches.
