Olivet College junior Cara Underwood (Holland) has earned 2009 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) first-team honors in women’s soccer. All-MIAA honors are based on a player’s statistics during the eight-game league schedule.

The Olivet College women’s soccer team battled to a 1-1 double overtime draw against Grove City (Pa.) College in the second round of the John Carroll University Classic in University Heights, Ohio. For their efforts this weekend, juniors Megan Colby (Sparta/Cedar Springs) and Cara Underwood (Holland) were named to the all-tournament team.
