Women’s soccer team ends season with 2-1 loss to Albion in first round of 2006 MIAA Tournament
The Olivet College women’s soccer team fell to Albion College, 2-1, today in the first round of the 2006 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament at Alumni Field in Albion.

The Olivet College women's soccer team fell to Albion College, 2-1, today in the first round of the 2006 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament at Alumni Field in Albion.
The Britons (12-4-3) led 2-0 behind goals by Ashley Lynch and Allison Oatley. The Comets (5-10-2) got on the scoreboard with 2:15 left in the game. Senior Kelli McKee (Canton) deposited the ball into the right corner of the goal. Junior Shannah Fisher (Delton Kellogg) received credit for an assist on the goal.
For the game, each team finished with eight shots. Olivet had a 7-4 edge in shots on goal. Eight different Comets took a shot. In goal, freshman Shane Brady (Battle Creek/ Central) made one save.
