Women’s Cross Country: Peters helps Olivet finish eighth at MCC Jayhawk Invitational

MUSKEGON, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's cross country team finished eighth at the Muskegon Community College Jayhawk Invitational, held today at the University Park Golf Course.

• UO Team: 8th of 9 (197 points)
• Top UO Individual: Abbey Peters, 34th of 111

• Junior Abbey Peters was 34th of 111 runners in the 5K race, covering the course in 20:18.2.
• Senior Allyson Stevens completed the race in 21:01.5.
• Freshman Aaliyah Cota was not far behind in 21:07.0.
• Sophomore Sarah Grove finished in 21:13.1.
• Senior Lily Connelly had a time of 22:24.5.

• The Comets run at the 2023 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships Saturday, October 28, at the Three Fires Golf Club in Holland.
