Women's cross country team competes at Spartan Invitational
The women's cross country team competed today at the 38th Annual Manchester (Ind.) College Spartan Invitational, which showcased NCAA Division III as well as NAIA schools.
NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. -- The Olivet College women's cross country team competed today at the 38th Annual Manchester (Ind.) College Spartan Invitational, which showcased NCAA Division III as well as NAIA schools.
For the women, junior Brittany Marshall (Canton, Ga./Woodstock) finished in 27th-place and covered the 6K course in a personal-best time of 25:37.8. Freshman Anna Krausz (Lyons/Portland) was one spot behind in 28th and stopped the clock at a personal-best time of 25:39.7. Senior Katie Yahrmarkt (Sparta) placed 39th in 28:40.2.
The Comets are now idle for two weeks and will next compete at the 2010 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships Oct. 30 at Calvin College.
