Olivet College volleyball team receives AVCA Academic Award
The Olivet College volleyball team has received the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2013-14 season.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College volleyball team has received the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2013-14 season.
Initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, the award honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that display excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale.
The Comets were one of 129 NCAA Division III schools to receive the award. There are more than 400 Division III schools with volleyball programs. Overall, 686 teams from all levels (NCAA, NJCAA, NCCAA and high school), who earned this honor from the AVCA.
