OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College volleyball team fell to Trine (Ind.) University in three sets (25-15, 25-9, 25-15) tonight at The Cutler Event Center in Olivet.
The Comet front row attack was led by junior Stefanie Lang (Valparaiso, Ind.), who had 11 kills, three attack errors on 26 attempts for a team-leading .308 attacking percentage. Sophomore Taylor Pringle (Haslett) collected a team-high 16 assists. Defensively, sophomore Mackenzie Inman (Union City) and junior Tina Westendorp (Nashville/Maple Valley) had 11 and 10 digs, respectively.
Olivet will now prepare for a busy weekend. The Comets will travel to play Saint Mary's (Ind.) College Friday night at 7 p.m., and then host Albion College Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
