UOlivet finishes eighth at MIAA Championships

ANGOLA, Ind. – The University of Olivet women's indoor track and field team finished eight at the 2026 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship.

After taking third on Friday in the weight throw, sophomore Kenzie Gray placed sixth today in the shot put (36 feet, 11 inches). The mark moves her up one spot to No. 8 on the UOlivet all-time top 10 list. The Comets' other points were in the 4x400-meter relay, where the team of junior Aubrey Connelly, freshman Landry Gomez, freshman Cassie Bill and junior Ellie Baynes was eighth (4:55.34).

The Comets now turn their attention towards the outdoor season which begins Friday, March 27, with a triangular at Albion College. Alma College is the third participant.
