Michaela Kaliniak, a 2019 Olivet College graduate, received the NCAA Women’s Enhancement Program Graduate Scholarship.
The Olivet College women’s track and field team along with three student-athletes, Lillian Albaugh, Noah Bailey and Tyler Peck, have earned academic awards from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in 2018-19.
Eleven Olivet College athletic teams have received the 2018-19 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Team GPA award. The award is presented annually to the conference teams who have a 3.30 or higher cumulative grade point average for the entire academic year.
One hundred seventeen (117) Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the 2018-19 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll. Olivet succeeded the 100 plateau for the sixth time in school history.

Seven Olivet College track and field athletes have been named to the 2019 U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association All-Great Lakes Region teams. Top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors. In addition, each of the members of a top-three ranked relay team.

Over the last two weeks, a select group of Olivet College track and field student-athletes have competed at three last chance meets. The first was on Tuesday, May 7, at the Grand Valley State University Now Tuesday Meet, followed by Thursday and Friday, May 9-10, at the North Central Dr. Keeler Invitational, and the final one yesterday and today at the North Central Gregory Invitational.
Olivet College’s Lillian Albaugh, Ariel Floyd, Michaela Kaliniak, Kyle McDowell and Chris Womack have been named to the 2019 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Outdoor Track and Field Team. Noah Bailey and Tyler Peck join them on the All-MIAA team for being on the winning 4x400-meter relay team with McDowell and Womack.
The Olivet College men’s and women’s track and field teams placed sixth at the 2019 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Field Day, hosted by Hope College and at the Gordon Brewer Track in Holland. The Comet men totaled 81 points, while the Comet women had 43 points.

The Olivet College men’s and women’s track & field teams scored 95 and 76 points at the Albion College Triangular, held today at the Elkin Isaac Track in Albion. Highlighting the meet was six individual event wins and four school-record performances for the Comets.
