UOlivet falls at Alma, 6-1

ALMA, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association foe Alma College this afternoon at the Superior Street Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Scots won each of three doubles flights before taking wins in five of the six singles flights.

FOR THE COMETS

• At No. 3 doubles, junior Madison Golden and freshman Cecily Sawicki were up 4-2 before their opponents came back to win 7-5.
• Freshman Veronica Neahusan earned Olivet's point. She won the first set, 6-1, and with the second set tied at 5-5, her opponent retired from the match due to injury.
• At No. 6 singles, Golden battled in a 6-3, 6-2 defeat.

• The Comets are off until next Saturday, April 18, when they travel to play Albion College at 2 p.m.
