Women’s Tennis: Olivet falls to Albion

OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's tennis team fell to Albion College, 9-0, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) match today at the Tom Kolassa Tennis Courts.

• The Britons won each of the three doubles pro-sets before sweeping the six singles flights in straight sets.

• In doubles, the No. 1 tandem of freshmen Rylee Lewis and Jordan West had a close 8-4 loss.
• At No. 2 singles, West lost her first set on a tiebreaker and fell in the second set.
• Freshman Madison Golden won five games over the two sets in a 6-3, 6-2 defeat at No. 4 singles.
• Lewis came up short in a 6-3, 6-1 decision at No. 1 singles.

• Olivet travels to play Alma College next Monday, April 8, at 4 p.m.
