Women’s Tennis: Olivet drops 6-3 match at Randolph

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The University of Olivet women's tennis team was on the losing end of a 6-3 final to Randolph (Va.) College this afternoon at the Randolph Tennis Courts.

• Final Score: Randolph 6, Olivet 3
• Location: Randolph Tennis Courts; Lynchburg, Virginia
• Records: Olivet 2-5 overall, Randolph 5-3 overall

• Randolph won each of the three doubles flights.
• The Comets and Wildcats split the six singles flights.

• Freshman Rylee Lewis came-from-behind to win at No. 2 singles. After losing the first set on a tiebreaker, she rallied to win the second set, 6-4, and earned a 10-7 win in the match tiebreaker.
• Freshman Kayden Alli posted a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 4 singles.
• Freshman Madison Golden earned a hard-fought win at No. 5 singles. She easily won the first set, 6-1, but lost the second set, 7-5. In the match tiebreaker, Golden blanked her opponent, 10-0.

• The Comets conclude their swing through Virginia with a 3 p.m. match tomorrow at Bridgewater (Va.) College.
