ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team was on the losing end of a 9-0 score to Alma College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) match today at the Superior Street Tennis Complex.

Records: Olivet 0-5 overall, 0-5 MIAA; Alma 3-6 overall, 1-4 MIAA
- The Scots breezed through the three doubles matches, losing only five total games. Alma won all six singles matches, including five in straight sets.
- In doubles, the No. 1 duo of juniors Makenzie Borg and Ally Sears, as well as the No. 3 duo of junior Jill Arends and sophomore Jenna Otten lost matching 8-2 pro-sets.
- At the No. 3 singles slot, junior Kennedy Karns won the opening set 7-5. Her opponent came back to win the second set 6-1 and the match-tiebreaker 10-8.
- Borg dropped 6-4, 6-2 decision at No. 1 singles.
- The Comets play a rescheduled match Thursday at Adrian College. First serve is at 3 p.m. Please note the match is now being played at Adrian.
