MARSHALL, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team lost a close match to Concordia University-Ann Arbor, 5-4, this afternoon at the Marshall High School Tennis Courts.

Records: Olivet 0-2 overall, Concordia-Ann Arbor 1-0 overall
- The outcome was not decided until the final match was completed. The Comets got off to a fast start by winning 2-of-3 doubles flights. The won the first singles flight before Olivet won two straight to go up 4-2. The Cardinals rallied to win the final three singles flights to pull out the 5-4 win.
- In doubles, the No. 1 duo of junior Desiree Luque Pradas and sophomore Makenzie Borg posted an 8-5 win. The No. 3 duo of freshmen Kiandra Marciniak and Kalli Sackrider won 8-4.
- Winning in singles were Luque Pradas (6-2, 7-5) at No. 1, and Sackrider (6-4, 6-2) at No. 5.
- Olivet is off until next Sunday, Sept. 20, when it host Trine (Ind.) University at 1 p.m.
