SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team stepped out of Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play for the only time this season, and suffered a 9-0 loss today at Spring Arbor University.
Sophomore Lucy McNally (Berkley) won two games in the second set at No. 4 singles. Junior Devan Thomas (Traverse City/Elk Rapids) and freshman Alexis Hyatt (Lake Odessa/Lakewood) both won a game in each set at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
The Comets return to the court Sunday afternoon when they host MIAA-rival Adrian College. The match inside the Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek starts at 1 p.m.
