HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Olivet College women's tennis team fell to NCAA Division II foe Bloomsburg (Pa.) University, 8-1, in its first spring break match today in Hilton Head, S.C.
The Comets' only win was by junior Kelsey Singer (Brooklyn/Columbia Central) in the No. 3 singles flight. She won the first set 6-4, lost the second set 6-2 and then won the match tie-breaker, 14-12.
Olivet resumes play in Hilton Head tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. when it plays Lebanon Valley (Pa.) College.
