Women’s tennis team loses to Saint Mary’s in fifth-place match at MIAA Championships

The Olivet College women's tennis team was defeated by Saint Mary's (Ind.) College, 8-1, in the fifth-place match at the 2009 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships.
Playing at Western Michigan's Sorenson Courts, Olivet earned its team point at the No. 1 doubles flight. The duo of senior Jaclyn Mummaw (Buchanan) and freshman Giana Guerra (Lansing/Waverly) posted an 8-5 pro-set victory.
The Comets end the 2009 season with a 10-10 overall record
