Women's tennis team defeated by Alma, 7-2
The Olivet College women’s tennis team was defeated by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Alma College, 7-2, this afternoon at the MSU Tennis Facility in East Lansing.

After the Scots swept the three doubles flights, the Comets scored their two team points with wins in singles play. Junior captain Jaclyn Mummaw (Buchanan) won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, over Kelly Schwartzkropf in the No. 1 flight. Sophomore Celeste Gruber (South Haven) posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Lindsay Wagner in the No. 3 flight.
Olivet will take a break from MIAA play when it hosts Indiana Tech Saturday at 3 p.m.
