Women's tennis team defeats Bethel (Ind.), 6-3
The women's tennis team served up a 6-3 win at Bethel (Ind.) College this afternoon. With the win, the Lady Comets have a 7-4 overall record, which breaks the school record for wins in a season. Olivet had six wins in 2004.

The women's tennis team served up a 6-3 win at Bethel (Ind.) College this afternoon. With the win, the Lady Comets have a 7-4 overall record, which breaks the school record for wins in a season. Olivet had six wins in 2004.
The Comets won five-of-six singles matches. Winning were sophomore Rachel Vilums (Hudsonville) at No. 1, sophomore Corey Jager (Kalamazoo/Loy Norrix) at No. 3, sophomore Lindsey Struble (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) at No. 4, Sophomore Jaime Morrison (Marshall) at No. 5 and freshman Abbie Utberg (Commerce Twp./Walled Lake Central) at No. 6
The No. 3 doubles tandem of Morrison and sophomore Danielle Post (Marshall) picked-up a 9-7 win.
Olivet is next in action Saturday, April 9, when it hosts Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association newcomer Tri-State (Ind.) University. Action at the Michigan State University Tennis Facility in East Lansing begins at 4 p.m.
