Women’s tennis team blanks Hillsdale, 9-0
The women's tennis team beat Hillsdale College, 9-0, this afternoon at the Michigan State University Tennis Facility in East Lansing. The Chargers had only three players. As a result, they forfeited three singles and two doubles matches.

Sophomores Mallory Bailey (Kalamazoo/Loy Norrix) and Rachel Vilums (Hudsonville) picked-up an 8-1 pro-set victory at No. 1 doubles. In singles play, Vilums and sophomore Lindsey Struble (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) won by identical scores of 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, respectively. Sophomore Jaime Morrison (Marshall) had a 7-5, 6-0 win at the No. 3 position.
Olivet (6-3) will travel to play Hope College in its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association-opener Tuesday at 3 p.m.
