Women's tennis team loses to Albion, 7-2, in MIAA opener
The Olivet College women’s tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision at Albion College today in its 2004 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association opener. The match was moved indoors to the Ungrodt Tennis Center after the snowy weather this morning.

Leading the way for the Lady Comets was the #3 doubles tandem of Corey Jager (Kalamazoo/Loy Norrix High School) and Stacey Way (Escanaba High School). They lost the first set 7-6 via a 7-5 tiebreaker and rallied to win the second and third sets by 6-2 scores. Mehgan Bildner (Grosse Ile High School) was the other Olivet winner, pickig-up a 6-2, 6-4 victory at #6 singles.
Olivet will next be in action on Saturday, March 20, when it travels to play Aquinas College. The match has been moved indoors and will start at 10 a.m. The Comets resume MIAA play next Wednesday, March 24, when they play at Adrian College at 3 p.m.
