Women's tennis team falls to Ohio Northern, 9-0

The Olivet College women's tennis team had its two match win streak snapped with a 9-0 loss against non-conference foe Ohio Northern University this afternoon at the Michigan State University Indoor Tennis Facility in East Lansing.

Freshman #4 singles player Lindsey Struble (Battle Creek/Harper Creek High School) played the closest match, losing 7-5, 7-6. The #1 doubles tandem of Mallory Bailey (Kalamazoo/Loy Norrix High School) and Rachel Vilums (Hudsonville High School) fell just short, 8-6.

The Lady Comets (2-3) open Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play on Tuesday, March 16 at Albion College. Match time is 3 p.m.
