Swimming & diving teams complete third day of competition MIAA Championships

The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams are in fourth- and fifth-place after day three of the 2018 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships, taking place at the Venema Aquatic Center in Grand Rapids. Entering tomorrow’s final day of competition, the Comet men have 172points, while the women have 152 points.

The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams has wrapped-up the second day of competition at the 2018 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships, hosted by Calvin College and at the Venema Aquatic Center in Grand Rapids. After day two, the Comet women are in fourth-place with 109 points. The men’s team also sits in fourth-place with 96 total points.

The first day of the 2018 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships is complete for the Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams. Highlighting the action was Ana Paula Montes de Oca leading off the 800 freestyle relay with a school-record time in the 200 at 1:53.08.

The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams swept a non-conference double dual meet today at Anderson (Ind.) University and inside the Bennett Natatorium. The Comet men defeated the host Ravens, 149-97, and Manchester, 160-96. The Comet women won by scores of 177-63 over Anderson and 162-93 over Manchester.
