Women’s swimming and diving team loses to Hillsdale and Ohio Northern
The Olivet College women’s swimming and diving team fell to the host Chargers, 124-90, and Ohio Northern University, 147-94, this evening at Hillsdale College.

The Comets recorded three first-place finishes. Sophomore Jessica Howard (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead) had the quickest time in the 500 freestyle (5:32.73). Freshman Crystal Jager (Dorr/Hamilton) touched the wall first in the 200 breaststroke (2:35.84). Sophomore Megan Waschak (Battle Creek/Central) was first on the three-meter diving board with 255.90 points. She also took second on the one-meter board with 238 points.
Also finishing second was the 400 freestyle relay quartet of Howard and freshmen Erica Schlabach (Goshen, Ind./Northridge), Jana Blodgett (Sturgis) and Jennie Plamondon (Flushing). Their time was 3:58.96.
Olivet will rest tonight and then host Kalamazoo College tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m.
