OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's soccer team closed out the 2024 campaign with a 3-0 setback to Trine (Ind.) University today at the Cutler Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Thunder grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute when Abby Robison scored after receiving a pass from Andi Lipic.
- The score remained 1-0 at halftime.
- Trine added to its lead in the 57th minute on Ashlyn Swartz's goal. Maggie McDowell was credited with an assist.
- The Thunder capped the scoring in the 73rd minute. After a player was fouled, Julia Benham sent the free kick into the goal at the far post.
FOR THE COMETS
- Olivet totaled seven shots, placing five on-goal.
- Freshman Isabella Hillard and Ella McCormic each tallied two shots. Both of Hillard's shots were on-frame.
- Senior Sarah Willard played 86 minutes and 27 seconds in goal. She allowed three goals and made one save. Willard ends her career with 300 saves, which is the second-most by an Olivet player since the 2004 season.
