OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's soccer team was on the wrong end of an 11-0 final to Hope College in its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association opening game today at the Cutler Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Flying Dutch scored early and often in the game. Hope lead 5-0 at halftime before adding six second-half goals.

FOR THE COMETS

  • Olivet recorded three shots, including two by senior Katelyn White.
  • Senior goalkeeper Sarah Willard started in goal and played the first half. She faced 25 shots and made eight saves.
  • Sophomore Viveca Krolczyk was in goal for the second half and collected five saves on 17 shots.
