GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's soccer team began Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play with an 8-0 loss to Calvin University tonight at Zuidema Field.

  • The Knights scored three goals in the first half before adding five more goals in the second half for the 8-0 final.

  • Junior Sarah Willard started in the goal. She allowed four goals and collected 15 saves in 61 minutes.
  • Freshman Viveca Krolczyk played the final 19 minutes in goal, gave up four goals and tallied two saves.

  • The Comets host Adrian College Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
