The Olivet College women’s soccer team ended its season with a 2-0 loss to Adrian College tonight under the lights and on the Cutler Turf Field in Olivet.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's soccer team ended its season with a 2-0 loss to Adrian College tonight under the lights and on the Cutler Turf Field in Olivet.
There was no score until the 78th minute when Erin Weide took a pass from Lauren Cozzi and buried a high shot to the middle of the net for her 17th goal of the season for the Bulldogs. Adrian's Courtney Pomeroy scored a goal with just under six minutes left in the game when she knocked in a shot after gathering her own rebound.
The Comets finished the game with five shots, three on-goal. Senior Becca Gaarde (Parma/Western) and freshman Lauren Vanderhoff (Sterling Heights/Henry Ford II) each had two. Freshman Deanna Zolnoski (Macomb/Henry Ford II) played all 90 minutes in goal. She faced 19 shots and collected 11 saves, including several dangerous scoring opportunities for the Bulldogs.
Prior to the game, Olivet recognized Gaarde and fellow senior Madison Forsyth (Macomb Twp./Henry Ford II), who played in their final collegiate soccer game.
