ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College women's soccer team dropped a 9-0 decision to defending Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) champion Alma College today at Scotland Yard in Alma.
For the game, Olivet had eight shots, four in each half. Junior Becca Gaarde (Parma/Western) led the way with two, and both were on-goal. Freshman Kourtney Moore (Vicksburg) saw her first action of the season in goal and made eight saves.
After playing their first six games on the road, the Comets host Hope College next Tuesday, Sept. 20, in their home-opener. Game time from the Cutler Athletic Complex is 4 p.m.
