CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. -- The Olivet College women's soccer team battled to a 0-0 double overtime scoreless tie with Thomas More College today at The Bank of Kentucky Field in Crestview Hills, Ky.
Seniors Megan Colby (Sparta/Cedar Springs) and Alyssa Budros (Traverse City/Central) combined for the shutout in goal. Colby played the first half. She faced 13 shots and made seven saves. Scudder played the entire second half, including both overtime periods. She had six saves, while facing 17 shots. Olivet took shots, including two each for freshman Katie Clayton (Kingsley/Traverse City Central), junior Lizzy Julian (Mattawan) and senior Cara Underwood (Holland). Shots-on-goal were by Clayton, Underwood and freshman Mary Lamp (Alpena).
Olivet (4-1-1) will continue its non-conference schedule Wednesday when it plays at Manchester (Ind.) College. Game time is 4 p.m.
