The Olivet College women's soccer team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association foe Kalamazoo College, 3-0, today in Kalamazoo.

Despite the loss, freshman midfielder Stacey Stickney (St. Joseph High School) had four of the Comets' eight shots. In goal, freshman Dani Jacobs (Suttons Bay) faced 21 shots and made 13 saves.
Kalamazoo opened the scoring with a goal in 24th minute by Amy Draybuck in the 24th minute. Jessie Geiger scored the other goals, the first in the 38th minute and the second with 10 minutes left in the game.
The Lady Comets will next play on Tuesday, Sept. 23 when it hosts MIAA rival Albion College at 4 p.m.
