ADRIAN, Mich. – Led by sophomore Donovan King, the Olivet College wrestling team finished fifth of 20 schools at the 2022 NCAA Division III Central Regional, hosted by Adrian College and at the Merillat Sport & Fitness Center. King was the runner-up finisher in the 285-pound bracket to punch his ticket to the 2022 NCAA Division III Championship.

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Olivet College wrestling team is tied for fifth-place after day one of the 2022 NCAA Division III Central Regional, hosted by Adrian College and taking place at the Merillat Sport & Fitness Center. Two Comets have advanced to tomorrow’s semifinals and four more Olivet wrestlers are still alive in the consolation bracket. All six Comets are also guaranteed a top-eight finish.

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College wrestling team has captured the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship with four dual meet victories today at Trine (Ind.) University. The Comets beat Alma College (35-18), Adrian College (25-18), Albion College (33-21) and Trine (23-15).

In addition to the six champs, 10 Comets finished either second-, third- or fourth-place.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College wrestling team dropped a pair of non-conference dual matches this afternoon inside the Cutler Event Center. The Comets fell to No.11-ranked Baldwin Wallace (Ohio) University, 28-15, and NCAA Division I foe Michigan State University, 41-0.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College wrestling team hosted 10 other schools for the 2021 Comet Duals at The Cutler Event Center. The Comet varsity team split four dual matches, as it defeated Grand Valley State University, 23-22, and University of Mount Union (Ohio), 32-16, but fell to Ohio Northern University, 31-12, and Millkin (Ill.) University, 31-11. The Olivet “B” team split two matches against in-state junior colleges, defeating St. Clair County Community College (34-16) and losing to Muskegon Community College (33-16).
