Wrestling team has 1-2 record at Eastern Michigan Duals

The Olivet College wrestling team had a 1-2 record at the Eastern Michigan University Duals today at the Bowen Field House in Ypsilanti. The Comets fell to the host Eagles (32-6), bounced back to beat Thiel (Pa.) College (27-14) and wrapped up the day with a loss to University of Indianapolis (34-13).

Against Eastern, junior Vince Tucker (Clio) won 10-4 at 141 pounds and junior Aaron Sullenger (Alpena) won 3-2 at 197 pounds.

Olivet is now idle until next Friday and Saturday, Jan. 29-30, when it competes at the Pete Willson Invitational inside King Arena at Wheaton (Ill.) College. Action starts at 1 p.m. CT Friday and 9 a.m. CT Saturday.
