Wrestling team captures team title at Milwaukee (Wisc.) School of Engineering Invitational
The wrestling team captured the team title Saturday at the Milwaukee (Wisc.) School of Engineering Invitational. The Fighting Comets dominated the eight-team field with 100 points to finish 30.5 points ahead of the host Raiders.

Olivet crowned three individual championships in junior 133-pounder Kefentse Mandisa (Westland/John Glenn), junior 149-pounder Tyler Goodnight (Midland/Bullock Creek) and junior 157-pounder Mike Daubenmeyer (Macomb/Lutheran North). The Comets also had three runner-up finishes by junior 165-pounder Mike Andrews (Swartz Creek), junior 184-pounder Ryan Newberry (South Haven) and senior 197-pounder Ahmad Zeaiter (Kalamazoo/Portage Northern).
Junior 141-pounder Shawn Parker (Inkster/John Glenn), senior 174-pounder Todd Miller (Casnovia/Kent City) and senior heavyweight Ryan Tiseo (Washington/Romeo) garnered third-place finishes.
Senior 165-pounder Jesse Grenillo (Holly) and freshman 184-pounder Aaron Stewart (Dansville) competed as second-teamers for Olivet and finished in third-place.
The Comets are next in action Saturday, Dec. 11, when they travel to Ada, Ohio to participate in the annual Ohio Northern University Invitational at 9 a.m. The invitational features NCAA Division II and III schools from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia.
