Newberry competes at the 2005 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships

Junior 184-pounder Ryan Newberry (South Haven) competed at the 2005 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships hosted by St. Olaf College in Northville, Minn. The two-day championships concluded today.

Newberry was eliminated after two tough matches. He lost his first match, 3-1, over the No. 3 seed Andrew Helms from Delaware Valley College. Newberry then lost the second match, 5-4, on a tiebreaker.
