Sophomore 133-pounder Jaysen Brandt (Sterling Heights/Henry Ford II), junior 149-pounder Tyler Goodnight (Midland/Bullock Creek), freshman 157-pounder Josh Bowerman (Middleville/Thornapple Kellogg), junior 165-pounder Mike Andrews (Swartz Creek) and freshman 174-pounder Dayne Fletke (Middleville/Thornapple Kellogg) all picked up a win by forfeit.
Winning by pin were senior heavyweight Ryan Tiseo (Washington/Romeo) in 2:29 and senior 197-pounder Ahmad Zeaiter (Kalamazoo/Portage Northern) in 4:28. Freshman 184-pounder Aaron Stewart (Dansville) defeated his opponent, 9-0, and junior 141-pounder Shawn Parker (Inkster/John Glenn) won, 5-2.
Olivet is now idle until Saturday, Jan. 29, when it competes at the annual Wabash (Ind.) College Monon Bell Classic in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Action begins at 9 a.m.
