Wrestling Team Finishes in Second Place at the Baldwin-Wallace (Ohio) College Tournament

BEREA, OHIO -- The Olivet College wrestling team finished in second place out of seven teams today at the 17th Annual John Summa Tournament hosted by Baldwin-Wallace College. Brockport State of New York won the team championship with 176.50 points and the Fighting Comets were second with 90 points.

Leading the way for Olivet was senior Chris Dunham (Nashville/Maple Valley High School), who won the championship at 149-pounds. Sophomore heavyweight Ryan Tiseo (Washington Romeo High School) was second.

Freshman 157-pounder Ken Andrews (Swartz Creek High School), freshman 174-pounder Jeff Wright (Rock/Escanaba High School) and sophomore 197-pounder Ahmand Zeaiter (Kalamazoo/Portage Northern High School) were fourth. Freshman 125-pounder Joe Suchowolec (Sand Lake/Grant High School) was fifth.

In addition, freshman 133-pounder Shawn Parker (Inkster/ John Glenn High School), freshman 165-pounder Mike Andrews (Swartz Creek High School) and sophomore 184-pounder Todd Miller (Casnovia/Kent City High School) were sixth.

The Olivet second-teamers were also successful with fifth place finishes by sophomore 157-pounder Jesse Grenillo (Holly High School) and sophomore heavyweight Mike Mikalakis (Jeddo/Port Huron Northern High School).

Olivet will next wrestle on Saturday, Feb. 15 when it travels to compete at Mid-States Wrestling Tournamet at Manchester (Ind.) College.
