Olivet finishes 18th at IWU Fall Invitational

NORMAL, Ill. –The University of Olivet women's golf team was 18th at the 2024 Illinois Wesleyan University Fall Invitational, held at the Ironwood Golf Club.

• The Comets tallied a two-round score of 718 strokes.
• Washington University-St. Louis (Mo.) took first with a two-day total of 581 (285-296) strokes.
• Tiffany Chan from WashU earned medalist honors with a two-under par 142 (69-73).

FOR THE COMETS

• Junior Ella LaMothe had Olivet's low score at 165 (85-80).
• Senior Rylee Honsowitz completed her two rounds in 178 (91-87) strokes.
• Freshman Madison Cowhy shot a 187 (91-96).
• Junior Sedona Bonter carded a 190 (94-96).
• Freshman Emily Clark was two strokes behind at 192 (98-94).

UP NEXT

• The Comets are off until Tuesday, September 24, when they participate in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree #2. Saint Mary's (Ind.) College is the host, and the 18-hole tournament is at the Elbel Park Golf Course in South Bend, Indiana.
