Women’s Golf: Olivet ties for eighth at MIAA Jamboree #3

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's golf team shared eighth-place at the third Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) jamboree, held today at Milham Park Golf Course and hosted by Kalamazoo College.

• Top UO Individual: Rylee Honsowitz (+9), T9th of 54

• Olivet tied Alma College for eighth with 351 team scores.
• Saint Mary's (Ind.) College won the jamboree with a 311 team score.
• Olivia Ohmer from Adrian College was the individual medalist with a 74.

• Junior Rylee Honsowitz shot Olivet's low round with an 81. The 81 equaled her career low.
• Sophomore Ella LaMothe carded an 85.
• Senior Rayna Honsowitz finished her round in 91 strokes.
• Sophomore Sedona Bonter had a 94.
• Freshman Breanna Ramos matched her season best with a 96.

• The Comets conclude the fall portion of its MIAA schedule with the last jamboree next Thursday, October 5, at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.
