Women’s golf team opens spring schedule at Jekyll Island Individual Championship
JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Olivet College women’s golf team began the spring portion of its schedule by participating in the Jekyll Island Individual Collegiate Championship, played on the Oleandar Course at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. The tournament was shortened to 36 holes after rain caused today’s third round to be cancelled due to unplayable conditions.

The tournament was shortened to 36 holes after rain caused today's third round to be cancelled due to unplayable conditions.
- Sophomore Rayna Honsowitz posted a two-day total of 165 (81-84) strokes to finish 12th of 36 golfers.
- Junior Aynslee Myer was three strokes behind at 168 (86-82).
- Senior Rachel Webb carded a 181 (89-92).
- Freshman Rylee Honsowitz finished with a 185 (95-90).
- Junior Kiersen McDonough and freshman Kennedy Ellis shot matching 204s.
- The Comets participate in the Trine (Ind.) University Invitational Saturday, April 2, at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.
