Women’s golf team ties for seventh-place at MIAA Fall Final

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College women's golf team tied for seventh-place at the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Fall Final at the Bedford Valley Country Club.

Par / Yardage: 72 / 5,844 yards
- After shooting a 345 team in Friday's first round, the Comets improved by five strokes with a 340 in today's second round for a two-day total of 685 strokes.
- Hope College took first-place with a two-round total of 636 (325-311) strokes.
- Darby Scott was the individual medalist, as she finished with a two-day total of 151 (78-73) strokes.
- Freshman Kennedy Ellis posted Olivet's best two-round total with a 169 (82-87).
- Sophomore Rayna Honsowitz and junior Aynslee Myer carded matching 172s. Honsowitz had a 90 in the first round before shaving eight strokes off in her second round with an 82. Myer had an 87 in the first round and 85 in the second round.
- Freshman Rylee Honsowitz completed her two rounds in 176 total strokes.
- Senior Rachel Webb had a two-day total of 178 strokes.
