- In a tightly packed field, the Comets carded a 353 team score. The total is just three strokes behind ninth-place Trine (Ind.) University and three strokes ahead of 11th-place Albion College.
- The first round leader is Hope College who posted a 315 team score.
- Rita Cheney from Hope is the individual leader after 18 holes with a one-over par 73.
- Sophomore Rayna Honsowitz shot an 84 for Olivet's low score.
- Junior Aynslee Myer was next at 85.
- Freshman Rylee Honsowitz completed her round in 90 strokes.
- Senior Rachel Webb carded a 94.
- Freshman Kennedy Ellis finished her round in 95 strokes.
- The Comets had four players form a "B" team. Senior Logan McLane and sophomore Jenna Otten both shot an 87 to lead that group.
