Olivet College’s Plourde earns MIAA Women’s Golfer of the Week honors

OLIVET, Mich. – Olivet College senior Adrienne Plourde (Livonia/Redford Thurston) has earned Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Golfer of the Week honors.

Plourde averaged 78 strokes in helping the Comets win the first two MIAA jamborees last week. She shot an 80 to finish in second-place at the first jamboree Sept. 24 at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall and then captured medalist honors with a 76 at the second jamboree Sept. 28 at the Milham Park Golf Course in Kalamazoo.

Olivet will play the next two MIAA rounds this week, beginning Wednesday at Thornapple Pointe Golf Club in Grand Rapids. The other round will be Saturday at Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.
