The women’s golf team opened the spring portion of its schedule with a 340-351 dual match victory over Piedmont (Ga.) College today at The Orchard Golf & Country Club.

PIEDMONT, Ga. -- The Olivet College women's golf team opened the spring portion of its schedule with a 340-351 dual match victory over Piedmont (Ga.) College today at The Orchard Golf & Country Club.
The Comets, ranked No. 11 in the Golfstat.com poll, were led by senior Amber Conrad (Battle Creek/ Harper Creek), who carded an 80. Junior Lauren Campbell (Fenton) was next with an 84. Freshman Theresa Damico (White Lake/Lakeland) shot an 87. Freshman Adrienne Jones (Redford/Thurston) and senior Abby Wheeler (Grayling) each had an 89.
Olivet is now off until March 26-27 when it participates in the University of Mount Union Invitational at the Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance, Ohio.
