Women’s golf team finishes in fourth-place at IWU Fall Invitational
The Olivet College women's golf team finished in fourth-place (out of 20 teams) at the two-day Illinois Wesleyan University Fall Invitational, which was played at the Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Illinois.

The Comets posted a two-day total of 657 strokes. Washington University of St. Louis took top honors, followed by University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in second and William Woods (Mo.) University in third.
Senior Megan Rimmel (Ithaca) placed third of 112 golfers with a 154 (78-76). Junior Amber Conrad (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) finished in a tie for 11th-place with a 162 (79-83). Sophomore Lauren Campbell (Fenton) was three strokes behind at 165 (84-81). Junior Abby Wheeler (Grayling) needed 176 (89-87) to complete her two rounds.
Olivet returns to action Wednesday for the second league jamboree at the Macatawa Legends Golf and Country Club in West Olive.
