Women's golf team wins O.C. Triangular

The Olivet College women's golf team took first-place at its own triangular today at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall. The Comets posted a 331 team score to beat second-place Hope College by 11 strokes. Albion College was third at 396.

Sophomore Lauren Campbell (Fenton) earned medalist honors with an 80. Senior Megan Rimmel (Ithaca) tied for second-place with an 81. Junior Amber Conrad (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) was fourth at 83. Junior Abby Wheeler (Grayling) rounded out the Olivet lineup with an 87.

The Comets are now idle until next Saturday and Sunday, April 10-11, when they participate in the DePauw (Ind.) University Invitational at the Twin Bridges Golf Course in Danville, Ind. Saturday's round will have tee times, while Sunday will be a shotgun start.
